Aurora will produce the upcoming FIM E-Xplorer World Cup.

E-Xplorer promises to be a new international, all-electric, all-terrain, motorcycle series, backed by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme. Twelve teams of two riders, mandatory one male and one female per team, will compete in a series of global events spanning a mix of city centre and natural locations.

Aurora will provide multi-format broadcast coverage, format development, digital content and brand activations for the first edition of the competition, which plans to launch in 2023. It has already created content for E-Xplorer’s first official test, held in September, close to the town of Vollore-Montagne, in central France - where 16 riders tested the four manufacturers’ electric motorcycle technology and overall performance.

The competition aims to be sustainable, with the entire test event, including the paddock, powered through zero-emission hydrogen energy generators provided by GCK Energy.
