The streamer makes the move after acquiring Texel
DAZN has launched its own innovation hub, DAZN X.
Built on the acquisition of Israeli video streaming innovation company Texel, DAZN X will operate operate as a global business unit across all of the broadcaster’s core markets. The entire 50-strong Texel team will join the hub to work alongside DAZN’s exisiting technology and product teams.
DAZN X will focus on adding interactive and engaging content layers to DAZN’s streaming service, aiming to allow customers to talk, share, shop and play with their friends and communities while live streaming premium sports content.
