TVU Networks has revealed its on-site offering for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
The company has extensive services available, many targeted at assisting remote production - which is necessary for broadcasters with strict Covid restrictions in place.
There is a 24/7 technical assistance team availabel for new and existing customers, rights-cleared access to live external video feeds of locations across Tokyo through TVU MediaSource, an inventory of TVU One mobile transmitters for rent in Tokyo and the TVU Remote Production System (RPS) for multi-camera REMI production, professional English language camera crews, and studio space in downtown Tokyo.
Other rental options include cloud-based TVU Producer, for live multi-camera video production in the cloud, TVU Grid, which allows scalable point-to-multipoint live video distribution, and TVU Partyline, a broadcast-quality live production collaboration platform.
In addition, broadcasters can access the TVU Anywhere app for no charge. It allows full HD live transmission of video from iOS or Android smartphones for mobile journalism.
Over 100 broadcasters have already made use of TVU Networks’ options, including ESPN, beIN Sports, and more.
Kap Shin, global services at TBU Networks, said: “We’ve been extremely busy in the run up to the Summer Games, supplying our cloud and IP-based live video solutions to broadcasters from around the globe as well as supplying a host of support services.”
