Season opener goes behind the scenes of RSC Anderlecht’s academy, which has produced the likes of Vincent Kompany, Romelu Lukaku, Youri Tielemans and Leander Dendoncker
Shoot The Company has revealed it handled production for FIFA Academies, part of the launch slate for new streaming service FIFA+.
FIFA launched its D2C offering yesterday, 12 April, and you can find out the details here. The platform includes live matches, archive content from every men’s and women’s World Cup to be filmed, and original content - such as interview series HD Cutz, which Broadcast Sport went behind the scenes of here.
Part of the slate of originals for the new streamer is FIFA Academies, which takes a behind-the-scenes look at the top youth set ups in world football. The series kicks off with Belgian side RSC Anderlecht, which has seen the likes of Vincent Kompany, Romelu Lukaku, Youri Tielemans, and Leander Dendoncker pass through in recent times.
Shoot The Company produced the show, continuing its work with FIFA that has included the FIFA Best Awards in 2022 along with the Official Film of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
