The agreement continues the long-standing relationship between the producer and facilities provider
Timeline TV is to provide broadcast facilities and crew for Racecourse Media Group’s host production and on-course coverage of all Dubai Racing Club horse races.
The agreement covers the whole of the season at Meydan Racecourse, including the US$30.5m (£23m) Dubai World Cup card on 26 March 2022.
Timeline has been a long-term broadcast partner of Racecourse Media Group and have covered horseracing from Dubai together for the previous six seasons.
The 2021-2022 race season includes 22 meetings. The first is the 2022 Dubai World Cup Carnival, which begins on Thursday, 13 January. More than 40 broadcasters picked up this year’s Dubai World Cup race-day.
Racecourse Media Group is the parent company of Racing TV, which will be showing every fixture live from Meydan this season and is available on Sky 426, Virgin 536 (Britain) and 411 (Ireland), Apple TV and Vodafone (Ireland).
Dan McDonnell, CEO of Timeline Television, said: “We’re proud to be working with the Dubai Racing Club and Racecourse Media Group for the seventh year running. Each year we look to see how we can best capture the racing action and for the second year in a row we’re delighted to be providing both on-site and remote broadcast facilities to make this a more sustainable broadcast production.”
