The short film, celebrating the MCC’s work to help young people through cricket, will be played ahead of the England v New Zealand test on Wednesday, 2 June.
The MCC and Shoot The Company have released a short film celebrating the former’s efforts to improve the lives of young people through cricket.
The film will be played ahead of the first test between England and New Zealand on 2 June. Shorter forms will be playing on the scoreboards while the full film will be shown in certain hospitality areas and on the MCC Foundation website.
The work shown in the film includes helping state-educated players to reach their full potential in the game, and providing hope and opportunity overseas through cricket in impoverished areas in Nepal and refugee camps in Lebanon.
The film will also be used across multiple online touchpoints to encourage and empower more young people around the world to play cricket regardless of gender, race, or social circumstances.
Henry Wilks, co-founder of Shoot the Company, said: “As fans of cricket and advocates of the positive change that sport can have on people from all backgrounds, we were delighted to be involved in producing the next phase of content for such a wonderful organisation.
”Working alongside the MCC Foundation as a trusted partner has been a pleasure and we look forward to building our relationship while seeing candidates from the foundation flourish through their everyday lives.”
