Three-part mini-series Every Ball Counts goes behind the scenes of the new competition

The Hundred Every Ball Counts

The Hundred has launched a three-part docuseries, Every Ball Counts, going behind the scenes of the new competition.

The series features exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews and footage with stars of The Hundred, including Eoin Morgan, Heather Knight, Kate Cross and Moeen Ali.

Overseas stars Jemimah Rodrigues, Quinton de Kock, Rashid Khan and Amanda-Jade Wellington are also included, and it was created by The Hundred/ECB’s retained content agency Contented, alongside The Hundred’s digital team.

The first episode of Every Ball Counts, Seizing A Moment, was released on The Hundred’s YouTube channel and website to mark the 2022 Men’s Draft on 4 April. It looks at the world-class men and women on display, with the players giving their insight into some of the biggest moments from last year’s competition.

The second episode, Igniting A Dream, will follow on 11 April, and will cover the impact The Hundred has had on women’s cricket, and how the tournament is helping inspire children to take up the sport. The first season broke viewing figure records for the women’s game, and over 16 million tuned in to see “some of the action” during the tournament

Finally, the third instalment will show what it’s like to attend the competition in person - ahead of general ticket sales for the second season opening on 20 April.
