It will deliver content as part of Formula E’s new remote production system

Tata Communications has been named as Formula E’s official broadcast distribution partner.

This will see the company deliver the live broadcasts of Formula E’s races to broadcast partners around the world, as part of the competition’s new remote production system.

Formula E and Gravity Media announced the created of a 50,000 sq ft London remote production hub last week, which will produce the international feed for all of its races going forward. You can read more about the facility here

Tata’s media edge platform will deliver more than 160 live video and audio signals from Formula E races to locations around the globe, using 26 media edge locations across North America, Europe and Asia. This will be supported by Tata’s specially trained experts, providing round-the-clock global end-to-end managed services at all 16 races this season.

In addition, Tata Communications and Formula E are working together to “further enrich experiences for motorsport fans with innovation and efficiency.”
