Deals with Boxxer and Top Rank see their fights join the broadcaster until 2025.
Sky Sports has sealed agreements until 2025 with Top Rank and Boxxer to boost its boxing coverage.
Starting from 12 June, the broadcaster will host Top Rank events from the US to British and Irish viewers.The likes of Terence Crawford, Vasiliy Lomachenko, Josh Taylor and Mikaela Mayer are currently represented by Top Rank, with Lomachenko’s 26 June bout set to be aired by Sky.
Meanwhile, more British boxing will be brought by the deal with Boxxer. Founded by the youngest licensed promoter, Ben Shalom, Boxxer also brings former head of boxing at Matchroom Sport, John Wischhusen, to the table, and aims to grow grassroots boxing and facilities with its Sky Sports partnership.
This means there will be at least 18 international Fight Nights a year, with almost 100 hours of boxing content. There will also be archive content featuring the likes of Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, Manny Pacquiao, Robert Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Floyd Mayweather jr. Anthony Joshua’s next fight, against Oleksandr Usyk, will also be shown by the broadcaster through its Box Office channels.
