Broadcaster will air all of Wales’ matches in Qatar
S4C has revealed its presentation team for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
The broadcaster will air every Wales game in the competition, with extensive build-up prior to each match, including player interviews and the latest news from the Welsh camp.
Dylan Ebenezer will present, with former Wales midfielder Owain Tudur Jones providing analysis and Sioned Dafydd reporting from pitch side. Meanwhile, lead commentator Nic Parry will be joined by co-commentator and former Wales striker Gwennan Harries.
Ebenezer said: “We’ve followed this brilliant Wales team on S4C for years and it’s surreal that the journey has taken us all the way to the FIFA World Cup. We are all passionate Wales supporters and we want to see Gareth Bale and the boys emulate John Charles and the legendary team of 1958 – and go even further.

“I have been lucky enough to go to two European Championships as part of the S4C team, but the World Cup is going to be even more special for all Welsh people – the players, supporters and us, who have the privilege of working in Qatar.
“We will bring the atmosphere of the stadium to the living rooms, pubs and football clubs of the nation. Whatever happens, we will see history being made live on S4C.”
In addition, S4C is to broadcast a celebration of the life of rugby legend Jonathan Davies for his 60th birthday, Jonathan 60, at 9pm on 27 October. Held at the Coal Exchange in Cardiff, Eleri Sion will guide viewers through the story of Jonathan’s life, from the euphoric highs on the rugby pitch and the happy family times, to the tragic events such as his wife Karen’s untimely death in 1997.
The likes of Shaun Edwards, Andrew Cotter, Sarra Elgan, Alex Jones, John Inverdale, Martin Offiah and Nigel Owens will contribute, and English subtitles will be available.
