The federation is working with ODMedia to handle all aspects of its YouTube channel
The Royal Dutch Cricket Federation (KNCB) has brought in ODMedia to manage its YouTube presence.
The Dutch content services and processing company will handle all aspects of the channel including live streaming, channel structure, promotion, and SEO optimisation for the premier sports teams.
The KNCB was founded in 1883 and represents the national cricket teams from the Netherlands, and the broader world of cricket in the Netherlands. It is responsible for organising cricket on all levels; development and coaching; club support; and grassroots projects.
ODMedia has strategic partnerships with all the global OTT platforms and has offices in the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Poland, Benelux, South Africa, and Scandinavia. In addition to offering the full range of technical-delivery services, ODMedia acts as an aggregator for the major platforms, providing digital-rights management, monetisation, target audience development, and cross-promotion.
Sjef Pijnenburg, CEO of ODMedia, said: “We are thrilled that the KNCB has joined our growing sport’s client roster. Cricket is one of the biggest sports in the world and with our expertise, we are confident that we can rapidly grow their YouTube channel and help grow the Dutch interest in the sport.”
Milena van Not, CEO of the KNCB, added: “We are excited about the new partnership between ODMedia and the KNCB. We know this will help us to achieve a sustainable growth of cricket fans within the Netherlands and at the same time unlock a broader audience outside our country. Also, this new partnership will contribute to bringing more attention to the achievements and successes, past and future, by our national teams.”
