The Premier League has reportedly been approached by Box To Box Films about creating a documentary series for Netflix.

The creator of Netflix’s Drive To Survive has also been in contact with individual Premier League clubs, according to The Times. All clubs have now been informed of the approach, with further work to be done on the potential project.

Details such as the amount of behind-the-scenes access needed, rights to highlights, and more, will be confirmed before a decision is made by all 20 clubs.

Premier League clubs Arsenal, Tottenham, and Manchester City have already been the subject of Prime Video’s All Or Nothing series, which takes a look at an individual sports club over the course of a season. It has also had series about clubs in other competitions and sports, such as the NFL and Serie A.

The Premier League may hope that any series would have a similar effect to that which Box To Box’s Drive To Survive has for F1, which has experienced global growth, particularly in the US, thanks to the popularity of the docuseries - which is now in its fourth season.
