Two-part documentary will first air on 6 March at 7pm on Sky Sports Main Event
Sky Sports is leading up to the beginning of the 2022 F1 season with a two-part documentary on the rivalry between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen.
The pair battled for the drivers’ championship in 2021, leading up to a controversial final race where Red Bull’s Verstappen took the title by overtaking Mercedes’ Hamilton in the final lap - after a safety car took away what had been a comfortable Hamilton lead.
A Sky original production, Duel: Hamilton vs Verstappen will feature exclusive interviews with Verstappen himself, Red Bull and Mercedes team principals Cristian Horner and Toto Wolff, and former Formula 1 world champions, F1 journalists and Sky Sports pundits. There will also be breakdowns from the Sky Sports Formula 1 team explaining the action through the incident-filled season.
The documentary will first air on Sky Sports Main Event at 7pm on 6 March, ahead of the 2022 F1 season beginning in Bahrain on 20 March. It will also be available throug NOW with a sports membership. You can see the trailer below.
