Beth Lowney and Claire Downey join, while there are promotions for Katie Tookey and Osaro Ewansiha

Gravity Media has taken on Beth Lowney as business development manager and Claire Downey as technical producer – proposals. It has also promoted Katie Tookey to proposals manager – production and Osaro Ewansiha to proposals researcher.
Lowney was previously at the International Tennis Federation, where she headed up the broadcast team. During her time with the ITF, she worked with more than 75 broadcasters in over 175 territories. She was responsible for international production and distribution for the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup competitions.
Her new role at Gravity Media will see her work across outside broadcast and projects. She will be account managing key client relationships as well as dedicating her time to the growth of new business.
Meanwhile, Downey is an expert in live sports productions, particularly outside broadcasts, having worked in the industry for almost 10 years. Most recently she worked for Aurora Media Worldwide as a technical broadcast manager on Formula E, supporting the delivery of all programme feeds and servicing international rights holders.
She has also worked for Deltatre, where she project managed and provided technical support for many clients including UEFA, Channel 4 (Paralympics coverage), European Tour and EPCR. She also worked at WTA Media at DAZN, spendng four years working onsite at WTA tennis tournaments as a broadcast technical manager. She was responsible for planning and delivering all the technical aspects of WTA Media host broadcasts.

Gravity Media consists of four broadcast and production houses – Gearhouse Broadcast, HyperActive Broadcast, Input Media and Chief Entertainment.
