The films will be available this month (January 2022) on streaming service GCN+
Cycling streaming service GCN+ is premiering four original cycling documentaries this month.
The films cover cycling history, racing, and culture, and join the catalogue of nearly 100 full-length docs already in GCN+’s catalogue.
The new documentaries include The Rift: Cycling Iceland’s Fault Line, which follows ultra-endurance riders Jenny Graham and Lael Wilcox exploring Iceland.
Another of the films, Cycling Heartlands: Girona, sees former Tour de France rider Mitch Docker exploring the Spanish ‘playground of the pros’.
Meanwhile, Race Like a Belgian focuses on the challenges of the Belgian kermesse scene with Eamon Lucas.
The fourth new documentaries in The Lost Race, which centres on ex-pro Conor Dunne lifting the lid on a little-known London to Holyhead race.
All original documentaries are accessible via the GCN App, all web browsers, AndroidTV, Smart TV, Amazon FireTV, and Chromecast.
GCN+ is a subscription platform, which costs £39.99 per year, or £6.99 a month.

THE RIFT: RIDING ICELAND’S FAULT LINE
Around the World cyclist Jenny Graham is joined by Ultra Endurance racer Lael Wilcox as they ride over 200 kilometres through the breathtaking landscapes of Iceland and experience the Continental Divide, concluding their route at the base of an active volcano.
As well as launching the new titles above, GCN has made two of its most popular full-length original documentaries available free-to-air on YouTube for a limited period of time. These are Colombia: An Andes Adventure, and Chile: The Longest Descent Part 1.
Columbia: An Andes Adventure sees ex-pro cyclist Simon Richardson and record-breaking endurance cyclist Jenny Graham go on the ride of a lifetime to discover Colombia’s high altitude gravel tracks and isolated communities living in the shadow of a live volcano.
Chile: The Longest Descent follows world-record holding endurance cyclist Mark Beaumont and ex-pro James Lowsley-Williams as they head to the Ojos del Salado in Chile, the world’s highest active volcano, in search of the world’s longest descent.
Their aim is to scale all 6,893 metres of the volcano, with bikes on their backs, enduring extreme altitude and inhospitable terrain, before turning around and riding back down.
