It will focus on the 2021 season
F1 has announced that a fourth series of documentary show Drive To Survive will air next year.
The behind-the-scenes Netflix series has proven popular among viewers since launching in 2019, and gives a fly-on-the-wall perspective on the sport from the drivers and teams themselves.
The fourth series will focus on the 2021 season, which is currently seeing a title race between Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton as well as cancelled races due to the pandemic.
It will be broadcast some time in 2022, with other series coming out in the build-up to new F1 seasons. The 2022 campaign is planned to begin in March next year, with the first race taking place in Bahrain.
