Discovery+ is to show The End Of The Storm, a documentary charting Liverpool’s Premier League title-winning 2019/20 season.
Made with the full support of Liverpool FC through production, distribution and marketing, it shows how the Reds broke a 30-year league title drought in the memorable campaign in a 90-minute documentary following both the club’s inner sanctum and its large global following.
It will be available to stream in Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Italy, Spain The Netherlands, Poland and India on Discovery+ from February.
Featuring manager Jurgen Klopp, captain Jordan Henderson, and key players Alisson, Sadio Mane, and Virgil Van Dijk, The End Of The Storm also contains behind-the-scenes footage of the season.
Liverpool won the Premier League title by a mammoth 18 points in 2020, after a season that was hugely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
It is directed by Emmy-nominated James Erskine and produced by the Victoria Gregory, Adam Bullmore and Raimon Masllorens. The production is powered by Altitude Films Distribution, and presented by Brutal October in association with New Black Films and Liverpool FC.
