Primera Division Femenina will be show by streaming platform for next five years
DAZN has acquired the global rights to Spain’s top women’s football league, the Primera Division Femenina, for the next five years.
The deal with La Liga Profesional de Futbol Femenina sees the streaming platform air every single championship match, with seven out of the eight matches per matchday on an exclusive basis - totalling 240 games a season.
DAZN will also show the top games worldwide, and will produce highlights and analysis of each match, pre- and post-game interviews and more.
Shay Segev, CEO, DAZN Group: “We couldn’t be prouder to build on our commitment to increase the visibility of women’s football by becoming the new global broadcaster for LPFF. We want to make the players, coaches and clubs household names and an inspiration for the next generation of footballers and fans around the world.”
The Primera Division joins the UEFA Women’s Champions League on DAZN, which the company shows on YouTube as well as its own platform.
