The Bees will play West Ham and Valencia before its first top flight match v Arsenal
BT Sport is to broadcast the final two friendlies of Brentford’s pre-season before its Premier League debut.
The Bees host West Ham on 31 July, which will be on BT Sport 1 from 2.45pm, and then welcome Valencia to the new Brentford Community Stadium for its final pre-season match on 7 August - which is on BT Sport 1 from 5.15pm. It will be the first time that the Spanish side have ever faced the West Londoners.
Brentford has enjoyed a solid pre-season so far, with wins over AFC Wimbledon and Boreham Wood joined by an exciting 2-2 draw against Manchester United to ready the club for its first ever appearance in the Premier League.
Manager Thomas Frank will want to test out his players in these final two pre-season encounters, ahead of the opening match of the season against Arsenal. The game vs the Gunners will be shown on Sky Sports on Friday 13 August.
Meanwhile, BT Sport’s Premier League coverage begins with a highly anticipated opening weekend derby between Manchester United and Leeds United at Old Trafford on Saturday 13 August. It will air from 11.30am on BT Sport 1.
