BT Sport has announced the return of The Aussie Rules Show as the 2021 AFL season kicks off today with Richmond v Carlton.
The weekly magazine show will air on BT Sport 1 every Wednesday at 8pm, with Ollie Geale presenting the latest news, views, and analysis, together with special guest appearances from players both past and present.
The first show broadcast on Wednesday, featuring interviews with Richmond legend Mav Weller and Carlton’s Tom Williamson alongside a review of the 2020 campaign and preview of 2021.
In addition to The Aussie Rules Show, AFL fans will be able to listen to new podcast, the BT Sport AFL Podcast, hosted by Joshua Gabelich. It will look back on the week’s AFL’s matches, taking an inside look at the sport with well-known AFL faces such as players, journalists and experts. It will be available every Tuesday evening, starting on 23 March with guest Stephen Coniglio from the GWS Giants.
