Whisper is handling production for the international feed of the boxing bout
Jake Paul and Tommy Fury’s long awaited boxing bout will be available on BT Sport Box Office in the UK.
The fight will be exclusively on the PPV channel, with fans having to pay £19.95 for coverage that starts at 6.30pm on Sunday 26 February ahead of the ring walk at 9.30pm. The pair face off in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, after injury and travel issues have seen their bout postponed on two occasions.
The card will also feature two-weight world champion Badou Jack ‘The Ripper’ challenging WBC Cruiserweight world champion Illunga Makabu in the co-main event. The undercard is included in BT Sport Box Office’s coverage, which is available through BT TV, Virgin TV and Sky or online via the web or the BT Sport Box Office App. You do not need to be a BT Sport subscriber to buy the event.
Whisper has been appointed as the host broadcaster for Paul v Fury, and will produce the world feed fo the cruiserweight fight. The production company was previously host broadcaster for Oleksandr Usyk’s second victory over Anthony Joshua last year.
Its team for the event will include head of sport Pete Thomas, who has worked on world title fights featuring Oleksandr Usyk, Joe Calzaghe, Amir Khan and Carl Froch; executive producer John Curtis, who has worked in boxing for the last 15 years on headline pay-per-view events; and Bethan Evans, its director of production. The delivery team will include members from the UK, as well as local crew, and Chapter 3 Graphics will supply audio-visual effects for the broadcast.
