Coverage will be on BBC1, BBC2, and BBC iPlayer from 11am every day
The BBC has revealed its plans for Wimbledon 2022, with the broadcaster and tournament celebrating 85 years of TV and 95 years of radio coverage.
Coverage will be on BBC1, BBC2, and BBC iPlayer from 11am every day from 27 June until 4 July.
Sue Barker will be leading the presentation for the last time, having made the decision to end her BBC career after 30 years. She will be live daily from the All England Tennis Club and joined by the likes of former champions John McEnroe, Martina Navratilova, Billie Jean King, and Pat Cash, as well as Tracy Austin, Johanna Konta, Caroline Wozniacki, Tim Henman and Annabel Croft.
Isa Guha will welcome viewers each day at 11am (Monday 27 June - Monday 4 July) before Barker takes over later in the day.
There will also be live streams of all available matches can be watched on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website alongside video clips, highlights, live text commentaries, exclusive player columns, reports analysis and live scores. The BBC’s social media outlets will provide immediate reaction to the tennis.
Meanwhile, highlights and analysis show Today At Wimbledon will be fronted by Clare Balding, which comes live from the open air studio by The Hill daily at 8.30pm on BBC2.
Live commentary will come from Chris Bradnam, James Burridge, Andrew Castle, Matt Chilton, Kim Clijsters, Andrew Cotter, Kat Downes, Jo Durie, Colin Fleming, Peter Fleming, Paul Hand, John Inverdale, Abigail Johnson, David Law, Nick Lester, John Lloyd, Miles MacLagan, Ronald McIntosh, Alison Mitchell, Nick Mullins, Pete Odgers, Arvind Parmar, Louise Pleming, Simon Reed, Sam Smith, Liz Smylie, Mel South and Andy Stevenson.
In addition, sports news will also be reporting daily from Wimbledon kicking off with John Watson reporting for BBC Breakfast daily from 6am. Joe Wilson and Laura Scott will be reporting for network TV, including for the News at One, Six and Ten and Radio 4 News programmes.
Sports news presenter Chetan Pathak will be fronting the coverage for the BBC World and BBC News channel’s sports output including the daily 6.30pm Sportsday programme.
Finally, a special ceremony to mark the 100 years of Centre Court at Church Road will air at 1.30pm on Sunday 3 July. Barker, McEnroe, and Balding will present, look back on epic matches and classic moments with the help of some past Wimbledon Champions, before concluding with a performance from British singer songwriter Freya Ridings. It will also be a day for the local community with tickets distributed to local residents, schools, charities and community groups.
