Former IMG co-president takes leadership role in Eleven parent company
Aser Ventures has appointed Ioris Francini as its vice chairman.
Francini has 20 years’ experience in sport and entertainment, joining IMG in 2003. Beginning in its Italian, Greek, and Cypriot business, Francini moved on to head of sales for EMEA in 2007, before going on to senior vice president, head of sales worldwide in 2010.
Later, he became president of IMG Media and Events in 2014, and served as co-president of WME | IMG and president of IMG Media - he now holds the advisory role of IMG Media chairman which he will continue in alongside his Aser role.
At Aser, Francini will aim to strengthen investor relations and drive new commercial growth across its portfolio - which includes broadcaster Eleven as well as Premier League football club Leeds United and a number of content, marketing, data and blockchain companies.
