The NBA’s 75th Anniversary season, which tips off today, will see 48 games shown at primetime in Europe, as part of the league’s ‘NBA Saturdays and NBA Sundays presented by NBA 2K22’ primetime initiative.
Week 1 will see the Cleveland Cavaliers host the Atlanta Hawks live on Saturday (23 October) at 11pm UK time. Next up is the Charlotte Hornets taking on the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday (24 October) at 9pm UK time live. Both will be live on Sky Sports.
During the 2021-22 NBA season, fans in the UK can watch more than 190 live games exclusively on Sky Sports. The broadcaster also airs the ‘NBA Extra’ daily highlight show.

48 games will be broadcast in primetime in Europe this season as part of the NBA Saturdays and NBA Sundays presented by NBA 2K22 campaign.
The first NBA2K22 Saturdays game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday will feature a total seven European players; Lauri Markkanen (Finland), Cedi Osman (Turkey) and Ricky Rubio (Spain) playing for the Cavaliers; while Bogdan Bogdanovic (Serbia), Clint Capela (Switzerland), Danilo Gallinari (Italy) and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (France) feature on the Hawks roster.
