My Weapon is a Dog, BBC3
“A suitably alarming documentary on the UK’s sudden rise in dangerous dogs.”
Alice-Azania Jarvis, The Independent
Cutting Edge: Emergency in the Womb, C4
“Producer/director Sara Tibbett’s – for once, aptly branded – Cutting Edge film, Emergency in the Womb, was one of the most moving pieces of television I’ve seen in some time.”
Paul Whitelaw, The Scotsman
Playing the Part, BBC1
“What’s Playing the Part then? Oh, I see. An actor gets to do a job they do on the telly, only this time for real. Sort of method acting, but too late. Still, it’s a good idea, and presumably we’ll see Hugh Laurie doing a week of real surgery, David Tennant actually travelling in time, Barack Obama having a week off and Martin Sheen having a go. Oh, it’s Denise Welch off Waterloo Road, being a teacher at her old school in Consett. That’s a bit disappointing.”
