Brief Post-production on the 1 x 60-minute show for National Geographic Channel that explores how technology is changing Amsterdam.

How it was done Colourist Kenny Gibb, using Baselight, took time to draw attention to the 3D data waves and giant locator droplets and other elements, supplied by Weave VFX, that were composited into the fi lm. Julian Nelson completed the online in Avid Symphony using the Baselight Editions plug-in. This allowed a renderless workflow and the flexibility to slip shots and make tweaks at the final stage. It also gave Nelson the time to create animated, rotoscoped lower thirds in After Effects and drop these back into Symphony. Nag Kirinde mixed the audio using Avid Pro Tools and the S6 Console, adding layers of subtle sound design to capture the intricacies of data travel.
