Brief Online, audio and grade on the fourth series of the 12 x 30-minute BBC in-house fantasy drama about teenagers who lead secret lives as ‘wolfbloods’.

How it was done Taking footage shot on location on the Arri Alexa, Jamie Parry used Baselight 2 to evoke a new feel, not seen in previous series, that complemented the new location and characters.

A more heightened, less muted approach was taken with neon and streetlights accentuated to give a vibrant city look.

To emphasis the wolf eyes, Parry did some selective shape tracking and careful keying. Wolfblood vision and senses were heightened in the grade using colour, defocus and layering of smoke and lens flare.

Mark Briscoe mixed the audio, with Rob Douglas doing the online. Jellyfish provided the VFX shots.
