Post facility West Digital has invested a new Editshare ahead of its tenth birthday.

The west London post house has two Avid DS v11 grading suites – one which was upgraded in February and one in August.

The 32TB Editshare was installed last week.

The facility also intends to invest in its cloud services and storage and is looking to support more off-site edit suites.

Founded in 2002 by Peter Zacaroli and Darren Cock, West Digital is celebrating its tenth anniversary on Friday.

“It marks an impressive milestone for the company in a constantly changing industry,” said joint managing director Darren Cock.

“When the company started there were two suites and three staff.

“We now have eight suites onsite plus an audio suite and support ten suites offsite.”
