Comparison website Consumerchoices.co.uk has launched a service to check HD coverage across the UK.

The website combines postcode-driven results for local exchange with the availability of cable, Freeview and satellite services.

Results also includes the digital switchover date, how reliable the signal is and the distance from the transmitter to the postcode.

Head of business development and partnerships at Consumerchoices.co.uk Simon Piper said: “With more and more households able to get Freeview HD as the rollout continues and with upcoming events such as the Olympics to watch, the demand is only going to soar.”
