UK companies have dominated the nominations for Milia's inaugural Content 360 digital commissioning competition, which is being organised in partnership with the BBC, the Korean Broadcasting Commission and the National Film Board of Canada.
Of the 24 finalists, 11 projects are from UK companies, including Endemol-owned Victoria Real. Overall the new initiative attracted 181 entries from 120 companies and 23 countries. The six winning projects, to be chosen at Milia on April 6, will share Eu80,000 in development funding.
British projects have been nominated in all four of the BBC-backed categories, including made for mobile content and next generation collaborative web concepts.
