NAB 2014: TVU Networks has released an open API for its TVU Grid IP-based video switching, routing and distribution system that will allow third-party broadcast kit manufacturers to integrate new or existing applications and devices with the TVU Grid ecosystem.
TVU Networks chief executive Paul Shen said: “With the ability to support any IP video source, we can help broadcasters centrally manage live video content from more sources than ever before with just the click of a button.”
