Brief Picture and audio post for the 10 x 60-minute cookery competition fronted by Nigella Lawson, Anthony Bourdain and Ludo Lefebvre.

How it was done Dubbing mixer Michael Wood mixed the audio in Pro Tools. Where appropriate, he enhanced and highlighted the cooking sounds to add to the atmosphere of the busy kitchen. Colourist Tim O’Brien used Baselight to give the show a gritty but warm feel, taking his cues from the green and earthy tones in the set design.

During the crucial tasting scenes, some of the shots of the food were captured in slow motion and the colours enhanced to increase the overall dramatic effect.

Online editor David Frisby used Avid Symphony tools such as Paint Effects and Timewarp to finish the series.
