Brief Provide full post-production on the 4 x 60-minute series focusing on uniquely gifted sportsmen from the worlds of snooker, motorsport, boxing and darts.
How it was done The series mixes interview set-ups shot on a Sony F55 in S Log3 with archive footage from the past 50 years. Colourist Kenny Gibb gave the interviews a natural and deep feel and revived the beauty in the archive. The episodes were then onlined by Julian Nelson in Symphony using the Baselight Editions plug-in. This allowed a renderless workfl ow between the systems and gave Nelson further tools for painting, tracking and blurring, and the fl exibility to slip shots and make tweaks at the fi nal stage. John Paul Sutherland mixed the audio in Avid Pro Tools using the S6 console, giving the programme a fun and colourful mix.
