Sky 1’s Mount Pleasant will be based at the Space Project for the fifth outing of the comedy series.
The arrival of the Tiger Aspect production at the Space Project marks the first time that all of the facility’s studios have been in use simultaneously since construction work finished some six months ago.
Sky Living’s 10-part drama The Five is also based at the Manchester production facility, along with BBC1’s Dragons’ Den and Cradle to Grave, ITV Studio’s eight-part adaptation of Danny Baker’s autobiography.
The Space Project founder Sue Woodward said: “We’re delighted to have such a strong calibre of broadcasters, production companies and programmes with us under one roof.
“We remain committed to accommodating productions that share our passion for producing high quality content, and are happy to hear from anyone who shares our passion for helping to produce first rate TV.”
Earlier this year, CBBC drama World’s End and BBC2 comedy Boy Meets Girl were based at the Space Project.
