Brief Picture and audio post for the 8 x 45-minute variety series that features acts selected by comedian John Bishop for the show, which is recorded at the Hackney Empire in London.
How it was done Working in Splice TV’s newly built Picture House dubbing theatre, senior dubbing mixer Joe Cochrane used Avid Pro Tools’ field recorder guide track options, which provided access to all of the microphones used during the recording of the shows. This made sure that every audience reaction, laugh and gag was picked out and highlighted as the client desired. Tristan Lancey completed the grade and online edit using Symphony. Mel Tomlin and Kim Timmins worked as post producers across the series.
Watch it Saturdays, 9.45pm, BBC1
