Brief Manage the end-to-end post production of the 12-part series in which action-sport athletes are taken to different UK locations to perform epic stunts.
How it was done The programme was ‘cutty’, dynamic and action-packed, requiring an artistic grade with rich and colourful overtures. Some sections also required an artistically graded, filmic stylisation by colourist Matthew Eversfield. The grade and online was completed using Avid Symphony Nitris HD and the audio mixed on Avid Pro Tools 12. The extreme sports footage was delivered silent and required sound design to create the physical sounds and effects that give the action a feeling of hyper-realism. Sounds were layered to give the animated science sections depth. Matt Cheney did the audio and the online editor was Doris Sakjo.
