Brief Post-production on the 6 x 60-minute pottery series presented by Sara Cox and judged by ceramicist Kate Malone and potter Keith Brymer Jones, in which contestants try to become the UK’s best home potter.

How it was done Graded in Baselight, colourist Nick Adams paid homage to the iconic black-and-white BBC interlude film of a potter’s wheel from the 1950s and 1960s, adding colour fragments to give it a modern twist. Dubbing mixer Nerys Richards completed a challenging mix that featured a variety of noisy locations and multiple contributors. The WLM Loudness Meter and the X-Noise noise reduction plug-ins for Avid Pro Tools, both developed by Waves, were used and the overall tone of the show was enhanced with quirky, retro music.

Watch it Tuesdays, 9pm, BBC2
