Brief Provide picture conform, grade, VFX and delivery services for the 6 x 60-minute drama about aliens who reside on Earth but are forced to live a segregated life behind a huge wall in a ghetto called Troy.
How it was done The brief for the grade was to take a very bold approach, with two distinct looks: one for the human side and one for Troy. Using Quantel Rio, colourist Thomas Urbye gave the pictures a strong s-curve contrast, desaturating the original colour then adding teal into the shadows in the human world and yellows and reds in Troy, and then re-saturating. Lexhag completed a total of 134 visual effects shots, including a full CGI wall and Troy city set extensions and clean-ups. Mark Maltby was the online editor and Jonathan Harris was the VFX supervisor.
Watch it Tuesdays, 9pm, E4
