Purpose-built facility at Leavesden Studios features a 48 seat 4K screening room and a 4K VFX review theatre
Warner Bros. De Lane Lea has opened the doors to its new dailies facility at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden.
The bespoke, purpose-built facility features a 48 seat 4K screening room and a 4K VFX review theatre with Baselight and Daylight grading and dailies software.
Services include on-set and on-location dailies, film scanning, and SDI dark fibre connectivity to Warner Bros. De Lane Lea’s post-production facility in Soho.
Director of Warner Bros. De Lane Lea Cara Sheppard said: “It’s fantastic to bring a little bit of Soho to Leavesden, and to give our clients a full end-to-end service. Our new dailies facility offers exceptional levels of service and the highest level of security to deliver time and cost efficiencies to productions.
“Our award-wining talent and highly-skilled technicians capture and deliver images as they were intended to be seen by the director and cinematographer.”
Earlier this year Warner Bros. De Lane Lea opened its new picture services division in Soho which includes 4K HDR Baselight X grading theatres, flame online suites and a full mastering and QC department, and has hired new talent including leading colourists Asa Shoul and Peter Doyle.
Last year, the company announced it will be cementing its future in Soho by moving to the purpose-built state-of-the art Ilona Rose building in 2021 which is currently under construction
