The expansion adds an additional five dailies suites, all with SDI dark fibre connectivity to its post-production facility on Dean Street
Warner Bros De Lane Lea (WBDLL) has increased the scale and capabilities of its dailies facility at Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden. It launched the digital on-set and on-location dailies division in 2019, and has since seen “unprecedented demand for services, both in the UK and further afield,” says WBDLL.
The facility has a 48-seat 4K screening room (pictured above) and a 4K VFX review theatre with Baselight and Daylight grading and dailies software. The expansion adds an additional five dailies suites, all with SDI dark fibre connectivity to Warner Bros De Lane Lea’s post-production facility on Dean Street in Soho.
Mike King, director of operations, Warner Bros De Lane Lea, said: “Our dailies services offer clients the highest level of security combined with exceptional service to deliver time and cost efficiencies to productions. It’s been a busy few years for our dailies division and we’ve enjoyed working on several fantastic productions in a short space of time.”
Asa Shoul, colourist, Warner Bros De Lane Lea, adds: “It’s brilliant to see the dailies department expanding. Dailies is an integral part of production and forms a crucial part of the creative process which enables us to capture and deliver images as they were intended to be seen by the director and cinematographer.”
Recent Warner Bros De Lane Lea dailies credits include Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (Warner Bros.), The Flash (Warner Bros.), Mission Impossible 7 (Paramount), The Great (Hulu) and Pennyworth (Warner Horizon).
