He will leave his long-standing role as head of grading at Halo
Renowned colourist Ross Baker is leaving his role as head of grading at Halo to take up the post of senior colourist at Molinare.
Baker has been nominated for five RTS awards, with credits spanning high-end dramas, comedies, documentaries and factual, including Inside Number 9, Motherland, The World According to Jeff Goldblum, David Attenborough’s Great Barrier Reef, Flesh and Blood and The Missing.
Baker said: “I have had the opportunity to work on a wide range of genres and feel that Molis would not only allow me to continue with this work but offer exciting, new opportunities. Talking with the team there is a real passion to educate and develop a solid platform for people to learn and find their place in post-production. Those that know me, know I enjoy helping people develop their skills and not only teach them but learn and grow with them too. I have always seen this job as a privilege and being part of a company that wants to enable me to take that forward is inspiring.”
Molinare managing director Nigel Bennett added: “Ross has a rich wealth of experience across dramas, comedies, documentaries and factual and I’m looking forward to him bringing his knowledge, passion and experience to the Molinare grading team.”
