This session looks at the transition to remote and cloud-based workflows in post-production. The pandemic was an unavoidable catalyst forcing all post houses to implement new ways of working that took services traditionally carried out at a post house, including video and audio editing, and enabled them to happen from any location.
With Covid lockdowns now hopefully a thing of the past, and clients apparently keen to return to pre-Covid days, will things transition back to how they were before, or will new remote and/or hybrid workflows remain popular? Does the proven ability to do remote working also present options for post houses to have a presence in the regions without the need to open full-scale offices outside of London?
