Post-production platform Racoon has appointed two finishing editors, Nick Dixon (pictured left) and George Winfield (pictured right).
Dixon has more than 26 years of television industry experience with credits including 24 Hours in Police Custody, TOWIE, Geordie Shore and QI.
Racoon says he’s “a true perfectionist – Nick’s attention to detail and in-depth knowledge enables him to shepherd projects from the offline cut right through to delivery.”
Winfield has worked on the offline and online editing on productions including Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, The Masked Singer and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, as well as finishing for Adam Curtis’s HyperNormalisation.
Both Dixon and Winfield are based in the regions, and have access to physical space for edit, collaboration and review in London and with regional partners.
Charlotte Layton, CCO, Racoon, said: “The fact that both George and Nick have made life choices to live outside of London truly supports our desire to enable creative talent to work wherever they choose.”
Annie Francis, head of production, Racoon, added: “Having worked with Nick in a previous life I know what amazing talent he brings to our team and George’s industry reputation speaks for itself. I’m so excited to have them both on board.”
David Klafkowski (Klaf), CEO, Racoon, said: “Having two such well known editors join our team is terrific. For them both to be able to work their edit magic for their loyal clients regionally is brilliant and a great proof point for our model and platform.”
