Leeds becomes company’s fifth UK facility after London, Manchester, Glasgow, and Edinburgh
Procam Take 2 has opened an equipment rental hub in Leeds.
Joining its other UK facilities in London, Manchester, Glasgow, and Edinburgh, the new hub will support Procam partner MetFilm School as well as film and TV productions in the region. The company has already serviced several long-form productions nearby, including upcoming feature films Nandor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose, What Remains of Us, and Upgraded.
Customers using the Leeds hub will have access to Procam’s full catalogue of cinematography equipment, grip, and lighting packages, as well as its dedicated nationwide support network.
John Brennan, CEO of Procam Take 2, said: “Through our partnership with MetFilm School, we provide aspiring filmmakers with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they require to advance their careers.
“We look forward to continuing that support at the Leeds Campus. In recent years, Yorkshire’s film and television industry has flourished, and we are excited to bring Procam Take 2’s expertise and extensive equipment inventory to the region. Producers can now rely on a local company to provide a premium rental service on a much broader scale, with backup support all over the country.”
Jonny Persey, director of MetFilm School, added: “Our partnership with Procam Take 2 over the last four years has allowed us to offer students teaching and learning, as well as direct production experience, with the very same camera, lighting, audio and grip equipment that is used on commercial film and television projects.
“As we extend our provision to a new campus in Leeds, we are delighted to be able to do so in partnership with John, Paul, and the team at Procam Take 2, whose support, advice, and expertise are immensely valued by students and staff alike.”
