Last week’s Media Production Show (MPS) has been declared a success after attracting more than 4,500 visitors over its two days.
In just its second year, the London Olympia event featured 150 exhibitors, and an in-depth seminar programme, covering pre-production, production, post, delivery and live production. Speakers included YouTube sensations Casper Lee and Joe Suggs.
A number of key exhibitors have already re-booked for 2018’s event, including Canon, BPS, Panasonic, Holdan, Fujifilm, Global Distribution and Medialease.
Nigel Wilkes, general manager, broadcast and ProAV UK at Panasonic, said: “The timing of MPS is perfect. It allows us to bring key products we announced at NAB and CineGear to the UK for the first time. The show has been a brilliant launch pad for our new EVA1 camera.”
Charlotte Wheeler, event director at MBI, added: “The success of the event also reinforces the need for an industry trade show which covers a diverse range of products and services across all areas of content creation.”
The Media Production Show 2018 will take place 12-13 June at Olympia.
