The model is the third in Fujifilm’s series of Fujinon cinema zoom lenses
Fujifilm has unveiled the Fujinon Premista 19-45mm T2.9” lens (pictured, above left) – a wide-angle zoom covering focal lengths from 19mm to 45mm.
The Premista 19-45mm covers large-format sensors and, Fujifilm says, “delivers outstanding high-resolution, natural and beautiful bokeh, and rich tonality.”
The company adds that it delivers “natural images with little distortion across the entire zoom range.”
The lens will be released on 28 January 2021 and is the third model in Fujifilm’s Fujinon Premista series of cinema zoom lenses, with the series covering focal lengths between 19-250mm.
The Premista zooms provide a complementary or even an alternative option to Prime lenses, with each Premista lens providing a range of focal lengths, therefore eliminating the need for regular pauses in shooting in order to change the lens.
The others lenses in the Premista series are the Premista 28- 100mm T2.9 and the Premista 80-250mm T2.9-3.5.
The Premista 19-45mm T2.9 measures 228mm / 9” and weighs 3.3kg / 7.3lb.
