Final Pixel to launch virtual production training academy

Final Pixel is to launch a virtual production training academy, with courses available internationally.

Aimed at the next generation of virtual production artists, technicians, producers and directors, the academy will offer courses at all levels of the virtual production workflow. This includes creating Unreal environments optimised for virtual production and teaching the skills needed for an on-set virtual production crew.

The lessons will be based on what Final Pixel has learned from its ‘Mandalorian style’ virtual production and multiple end-to-end large scale shoots, including projects for Discovery, Disney/ABC and Shutterstock.

Monica Hinden, Final Pixel’s executive producer, said: “What sets Final Pixel Academy apart is that we are sharing the latest knowledge and on-set experience in workflow, technology and practices so that we can further the virtual production field collectively.
