The certification recognises workplaces that have a positive impact on staff, clients, suppliers, the community and the environment
Fifty Fifty has been certified B Corp, meaning it has met the necessary standards around its commitment to “goals outside of shareholder profit”.
B Corp verification involves documentation of a company’s business model and information about its operations, structure, and various work processes.
Sally Pacy, founder of Fifty Fifty, said: “We are delighted to have achieved certified B-Corp status. The philosophy resonated so clearly with us at Fifty Fifty and our ethos of running a responsible business. Certification shows our open and transparent commitment to build on our existing culture; to create a workplace which has a positive impact on our staff, our clients, our suppliers, our community, and the environment.”
Alex Meade, operational MD, adds: “We have created 29 actionable goals across three key areas – uplifting our people, global responsibilities and building creative partnerships. These include purpose alignment with clients and suppliers, going beyond Net Zero to become carbon positive and establishing clear targets to promote diversity within our business to surpass industry levels.”
JP Dash, commercial MD, said: “At a tremendously exciting time for the company, our B Corp Certification weaves perfectly into our ongoing business plans. We look forward to engaging with the B Corp community as well as spreading the word to our clients and partners about our ongoing mission.”
Chris Turner, executive director of B Lab UK, adds: “We are delighted to welcome Fifty Fifty to the B Corp community. This is a movement of companies who are committed to changing how business operates and believe business really can be a force for good. We know that Fifty Fifty are going to be a fantastic addition to the community and will continue driving the conversation forward.”
