Brief Post-production on a four-part documentary that charts Donald Trump’s life from the 1970s to the present.
How it was done Colourist Dan Gill graded the archivebased series using Digital Vision’s Nucoda to create distinct atmospheres, depicting each decade of Trump’s life. Nucoda’s restoration tools were applied to improve some of the more dated archive footage. Gill enhanced the archive from the 1980s to refl ect the style, opulence and colour of Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Dubbing mixer Nicky Fry mixed the stereo audio using Pro Tools 12 on an Avid S6 console. RX 6 was used to clean up material and de-noise the archive material. Online editor Tom Lucas completed the online using Avid Symphony. It was post-produced by Richard Folley and Chris Chalmers.
Watch it Thursdays, 9pm, Channel 4
