Brief Post-production on this BBC1 doc about stalking.
How it was done The documentary has exclusive access to Paladin, a charity fighting to protect victims of stalking. Filmed over 12 months, Stalkers follows three of Paladin’s high-risk cases and shows what it’s like to suffer years of abuse. Head of online Dan Preston-Bear was tasked with blurring the identities, names and addresses of contributors, due to the sensitive nature of the subject matter. Colourist Stuart Fyvie used DaVinci Resolve to ensure the actuality footage had a consistent look. The focus was on keeping the grade low-key and subtle to ensure the subject was the main point of interest for the audience. Dubbing mixer Adam Wood mixed the programme in Pro Tools making use of a variety of plug-ins including Isotope RX.
